Port Elizabeth: Electrical Engineer: Reticulation

Key Responsibilities: Design and layout of LV/MV electrical reticulation systems (urban, rural, and industrial) Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and reports Conduct site inspections and technical assessments Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including civil, structural, and utility stakeholders Ensure compliance with local and national electrical regulations and safety standards Liaise with municipalities and utility service providers for approvals Prepare cost estimates and tender documentation, and manage contractors on-site Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSc / BEng) Pr Eng / Pr Tech Eng registration (or working toward registration) Minimum of 35 years experience in electrical reticulation design Proficient in AutoCAD, ReticMaster, or similar design tools Strong knowledge of SANS, NRS, and municipal standards Valid drivers license and own transport Preferred Attributes: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and coordination abilities Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Experience working with Eskom, municipalities, or Developers
