The ideal candidate will have skilled experience in Procurement, strong negotiation skills, and a solid understanding of supply chain management.:
Role: Procurement Officer
Location: Western Cape
Industry: Waste Management
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the procurement process from sourcing to delivery
- Identify and evaluate suppliers
- Negotiate contracts and pricing
- Maintain supplier relationships
- Work closely with the Manager to meet procurement needs
- Clear criminal record
Qualifications
- Experience with Purchase Orders and Purchasing
- Proficiency in Contract Negotiation and Procurement
- Strong Analytical Skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Ability to work on-site in Cape Town and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Familiarity with waste management or environmental services is a plus
