Johannesburg: Service Sales Technician

The Service Sales Technician is responsible for customer support, overseeing installations and repairs, and growing sales within the Services Business Unit. Responsibilities: Complete required service reports and communicate with relevant persons. Communicate/coordinate field service activities with customer and/or local associated sales personnel. Installation, service and repair of refrigeration air conditioning, and all associated tasks thereof. Provide telephonic technical support to customers. Promote Service Contracts through customer interactions and communication. Understand customer requirements and provide most cost effective solution. Follow-up on Sales leads. Grow the customer base for Services. Identify sales opportunities within customers plants. Grow sales and revenue for Services Department (SLAs, once-off services, parts and accessories. Process in-house evaluations and repairs of units returned by customers. Other duties as may be requested from time to time. Qualification and Experience: Matric. Refrigeration qualification. Minimum 3 years experience in relevant field. Working knowledge of refrigeration products is required. Experience using electrical meters and troubleshooting. Previous field service experience preferred. Possess a valid drivers license and unrestricted ability to travel by air or ground to customer locations.
