Job Description
- Matric.
- At least 3 years plus relevant experience coordinating events, guest services, or hospitality operations is a plus.
- Strong administration skills with capabilities in planning, scheduling, invoicing, and follow-ups.
- Willing and able to work extended hours during events.
- Highly organised and able to plan multiple tasks and events efficiently.
- Owns a car, is willing to travel, and the candidate must be able to sleep over if needed.
- Communicates clearly and professionally with clients, suppliers, and team members; English and Afrikaans are preferred.

- Attention to detail and able to manage all small aspects of a function without mistakes.
- Adaptable and able to solve problems quickly, handling last-minute changes efficiently.
- Works well in a team and respects authority, taking constructive feedback positively.
- Presents professionally and maintains a neat and tidy appearance.
- Has no significant family constraints that interfere with long hours.
- Maintains energy and focus during long and stressful events.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate all aspects of functions and events.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare schedules, invoices, and follow-up documentation.
- Manage event budgets and resources efficiently.
- Oversee guest services and hospitality arrangements.
- Adapt plans quickly to accommodate last-minute changes or issues.
- Supervise staff during events and provide guidance where necessary.
- Ensure venues and event spaces are set up according to specifications.
- Maintain professional presentation and behaviour at all times.
- Report post-event outcomes and feedback to management.
