Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for all projects allocated to themselves and their team
- Brainstorms proposals with regards to research design, costs and timing
- Project brief and timing
- Sample design
- Screener, questionnaire and testing
- Collate briefing materials for data collection and conduct fieldwork training
- Design tables, analysis plan and coding (tabspec, analysis plan, data request, report design)
- Report writing and presentations
- Foster team development
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree level education Honours in Social Sciences, Masters in Research Psychology or Marketing degree preferable.
- Minimum 3 years of full-service market research experience in a research agency as an account manager, research executive, or project manager. Experience in retail tracking/audits is a plus.
- Extensive knowledge of various research methodologies across different industries.
- Ability to understand client issues and processes to contribute to discussions, research design, and analysis.
- Capable of managing projects with minimal supervision, taking the initiative, overseeing timelines and milestones, and proactively updating the team.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment with multiple responsibilities.
- Experience with Spatial XL, QGIS, or other geospatial data tools is advantageous.
- Proficiency in key African languages (Swahili, Portuguese, French) is beneficial.
- Is willing to travel domestically and internationally, specifically to African countries.
