Job Description
A well-established leader in the composite materials industry is looking for an experienced Sales Representative to join their team in Pretoria.
Requirements:
- A strong personality who demonstrates firm leadership skills.
- A proven track record in sales and marketing would be an advantage.
- Unafraid of operating within a highly competitive market.
- Be able to deal with basic technical challenges associated with the industry.
- A self-starter able to work independently and, when required, alongside his/her sales personnel.
- Ability to work cooperatively amongst a team comprising supply chain management, finance and admin to ensure efficient front-to-end work flows.
- A close knowledge of the composites industry will be an advantage.
- Communication skills written and verbal essential.
Responsibilities:
- Promote, market and sell company products used in the South African composites market thereby creating a strong brand awareness.
- Retain existing customers and secure new ones on the back of professional levels of service and support.
- Contribute meaningfully to the development and growth of the composites industry through working with all stakeholders to promote the use of composite materials as a viable alternative option.
- Sales administration (forecasts, monthly reports, budgets etc)
- Sales planning and execution.
- The position will report directly to the Sales and Export Manager.
- Actively participate in management and control of the debtors book.
