• Grade 12 / Matric (Minimum Requirement)
• Diploma or Certificate from a culinary/chef school will be an advantage

EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in a customer service position or a minimum of 6 months retail experience.
• Proven experience as a cook and using cutting tools, cookware and bakeware etc.
• First Aid/Fire Saftey courses will be advantagous.

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

• Knowledge on various ingredients,cooking techniques and cooking procedures (grilling, baking, boiling etc.)

SKILLS REQUIRED

• English Proficiency (read, write and speak).
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
• Ability to setup and maintain daily production schedules in the RTE department.
• Following instructions/recipes in cooking and delivering well-prepared meals.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift heavy items, and work with other team members in a fast-paced environment to provide excellent customer service.
• High level of energy with strong customer service skills.
