Job Description You will play a pivotal role in the success of the business by ensuring that profit potential and growth opportunities are maximized. Manage and direct the Sales and Marketing team to produce budgeted sales volumes while delivering overall quality customer service. Ensure consistent, sustainable profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning, business development activities by researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans, implementing marketing and sales plans. Identify objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales and earnings, towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with the companys vision and values Qualifications A University Degree/Diploma in sales/Marketing/Business Studies OR Metallurgy qualification is preferred Matric Skills A minimum of 5 years of related experience in the Rail Industry A minimum of 3 years experience in the Foundry/Metal Casting/ Rail Industry Direct experience in dealing with Transnet/Prasa Proven ability to motivate and lead the sales team Experience in developing marketing and sales strategies Specialist Skills/Certification MS Office (Advanced Level), Presentation Skills, Project Management.
