Minimum skills and experience required:

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Valid forklift licence
• 5–10 years’ experience as a forklift driver
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and basic numerical skills
• Physically fit and in good health

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate the forklift safely and in accordance with company policies and safety procedures
• Load and unload trucks in an organised and efficient manner
• Report any damaged goods immediately during loading or offloading
• Ensure correct pickings and orders are dispatched from the warehouse
• Check incoming stock, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy
• Attend daily production planning meetings and plan production requirements timeously
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report faults immediately
• Coordinate and communicate sales orders and pickings with factory staff
• Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse, equipment, and workspace
• Assist with monthly stock takes
• Provide support to admin and sales staff when required
