South Africa: Technical Sales Assistant posted by Greys Recruitment

• Provide technical support to the sales team, drawing on an electrical engineering background
• Assist in preparing quotations, proposals, and technical documentation
• Respond to customer enquiries with accurate technical and product information
• Liaise with engineers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure correct solutions are offered
• Support product selection, specifications, and pricing
• Maintain accurate records within CRM and sales systems
• Assist with order processing and follow-up communications

Key Requirements:

• Background specialising in Electrical Engineering (qualification or equivalent experience)
• Strong technical understanding of electrical products and systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical customers
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
• Previous experience in a sales support or technical sales role is an advantage
