Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Admin Clerk to join a dynamic farming operation. This part-time role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills, a proactive mindset, and a genuine interest in supporting both administrative and financial functions within an agricultural environment.
Key Responsibilities
Data Capture
-
Capture milk volumes, cow numbers, calvings, and other operational metrics on 4th Quadrant
-
Submit monthly Eskom meter readings
Human Resources Support
-
Organise and maintain employee files
-
Develop and manage documentation checklists
-
Assist with employment contracts
-
Support coordination of Health & Safety and Employment Equity meetings
-
Capture timesheets and payroll-related data
Invoices & General Administration
-
Sort and file invoices alphabetically
-
Follow up on outstanding invoices
Credit & Insurance
-
Assist with credit applications and insurance claims
Diesel Usage Reporting
-
Maintain diesel usage data via the SFP App
-
Prepare data for SARS submissions
-
Monitor and report on fuel consumption trends
Vehicle Services & Licensing
-
Track vehicle hours/kilometres via the SFP App
-
Schedule vehicle servicing with service providers
-
Ensure all vehicles are licensed and records kept up to date
Ordering & Supplies
-
Place orders for feed, diesel, and fertiliser
Filing & Records Management
-
Maintain up-to-date financial and administrative filing systems
-
Assist with archiving of records
Accreditation Support
-
Assist with agricultural accreditations such as GlobalG.A.P. and SIZA
Requirements
-
Strong administrative and accurate data capture skills
-
High attention to detail with the ability to work independently

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
-
Good communication and organisational skills
-
Previous experience in a farming or agricultural environment will be advantageous
