A global automation and sensor technology leader is building a talent pool of high-calibre Sales Engineers with strong FMCG, packaging, food, and consumables industry exposure. This is a solutions-based technical sales role , ideal for someone who already operates confidently at the systems and process level. Non-Negotiable Requirements: Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronic Engineering 5 years experience in technical or system solution sales Established network in FMCG, packaging, food, or consumables manufacturing Solid exposure to automation, system integration, or sensor technologies Valid drivers licence and a willingness to travel nationally Job Experience & Skills Required: Develop and grow key accounts within high-volume manufacturing environments Consult on and sell automation, sensor, and control solutions Work closely with engineering and project teams on solution design Leverage existing industry relationships to drive new business Manage the full sales cycle from opportunity to implementation Build long-term relationships with engineering, operations, and procurement teams

Key Responsibilities: Manage and support the full sales cycle, from initial client interaction to final order placement. Complete technical data sheets and documentation with accuracy and attention to detail. Analyze client requirements and ensure that proposed solutions align with technical specifications and manufacturing capabilities. Follow established processes and systems to maintain consistency, traceability, and quality of work. Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure accurate information transfer from sales to manufacturing. Maintain professional communication with clients to manage expectations and deliver excellent service. Work under varying workloads, including periods requiring high accuracy, quick turnaround times, and pressure handling. Participate actively as a collaborative member of the team to ensure seamless workflow between departments . Minimum Requirements : Technical diploma/degree (mechanical, industrial, or related field) is advantageous. Strong numerical aptitude and a sound technical background. Experience in technical sales, engineering support, or a similar role is beneficial. Ability to complete technical documentation with precision. Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills. Computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite essential). Excellent communication skills—both internal and client-facing. Willingness to learn and adapt within a niche technical environment.
