Our client in the Telecommunications industry is looking for a Website Designer/ Developer.

Key responsibilities

• Meeting with clients to identify their needs and liaising regularly with them
• Drawing up detailed website specifications
• Designing sample page layouts including text size and colors
• Design, development and maintenance of group and client websites
• Editing content, debugging code and re-designing web pages
• Hosting Setup and Migration
• Working with other web specialists including web developers and graphic designers
• Post-sales technical support

Requirements

• Working with different CMS including: WordPress, Joomla, Squarespace, Shopify
• HTML, CSS and phpMyAdmin
• Responsive design
• Search Engine Optimization and Analytics, etc.
• Have knowledge of current digital web design trends and techniques
• Custom theme development in the various CMS platforms (i.e. WordPress, Shopify)
• Skills in PHP and JavaScript
• Matric / Grade 12
• Tertiary Qualification in Visual Communication, Interaction Design or Multimedia
