We are seeking a motivated and ambitious graduate mechanical engineer to join our client’s team in Durban. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and gain valuable experience in the field of mechanical engineering.

Responsibilities:

• Assist senior engineers in designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and components
• Perform analyses and calculations to ensure the safety and efficiency of mechanical designs
• Collaborate with other engineers and team members to solve engineering problems and meet project deadlines
• Participate in project meetings and provide input on project planning and execution
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices in mechanical engineering
• Complete projects, studies and simulations to support technical operations team

Qualifications:

• BEng/BSc in mechanical engineering or a related field
• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices
• Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Exposure to maintenance operations or manufacturing environment
