Company and Job Description: Our client, a well-established organisation in the financial services sector, is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant (Operational Focus) to assist their finance team during a transitional phase. You will form part of a high-performing finance department and gain exposure to large-scale reconciliations and system integrations. Key Responsibilities: Reconcile operational systems to financial accounting systems. Prepare and post journals, ensuring correct debits and credits. Identify, analyse, and communicate variances across departments. Support the finance team with data analysis and operational reporting. Job Experience and Skills Required: BCom Degree (CIMA qualification advantageous). Previous experience in reconciliations, journal processing, and working with large data sets. Exposure to the insurance industry beneficial. Advanced Excel and SQL proficiency (experience with Great Plains advantageous).
