Job Description
You’ll design and optimise data flows that fuel real-time insights for businesses that move fast. Think Azure, Databricks, Kafka—your toolkit for building systems that hum like a vuvuzela at Newlands. Mentor juniors, collaborate with seniors, and make data magic happen.
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 2–4 years in data engineering
Python and SQL mastery
Experience with Azure Data Factory or AWS equivalent
Familiarity with Databricks and event streaming (Kafka)
CI/CD and Git know-how
A knack for turning complexity into simplicity
Qualification:
Relevant IT degree or equivalent experience
