Western Cape: Mechatronics Engineer posted by Communicate Finance

• Minimum 5 years working experience a manufacturing factory plant environment
• Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems
• Experience in automation, robotics, and/or control systems
• Proficiency in PLC programming, embedded systems, or microcontroller-based applications
• Competent in using CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Autodesk Inventor
• Proven ability to integrate hardware and software into cohesive engineering solutions
• Familiarity with sensors, actuators, and motion control technologies
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams
• Previous experience in mechatronics, automation, robotics, manufacturing, or industrial engineering
• Hands-on involvement in system design, testing, and commissioning activities
• Exposure to industrial environments, R&D, or product development is highly advantageous

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Relevant professional certifications or training (e.g., PLC, robotics, automation) will be highly advantageous
