Hire Resolve is seeking a skilled Registered Quantity Surveyor to join a dynamic team in Bloemfontein. This role is ideal for an experienced professional looking to make an impact in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
• Conduct detailed analysis and measurements of plans to develop accurate Bills of Quantities (BoQ).
• Compile and submit tender documents to clients.
• Manage the financial aspects of projects, including valuations and payment certifications.
• Engage with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to coordinate project timelines and costs.
• Monitor site progress and manage cost deviations to ensure projects stay within budget.
• Provide advice on contractual issues and claims management.
• Compile final accounts and manage project close-out documentation.

Requirements: 

• BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Registered as a Professional Quantity Surveyor (PrQS) with SACQSP.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
• Solid understanding of construction contracts and procurement processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in quantity surveying software and MS Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience in managing commercial projects is a plus.
