About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Relations Officer to join our team at Cre8work! This role requires a strong understanding of labour laws and regulations, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. As an Industrial Relations Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing employee issues, inspecting and resolving disputes, and working closely with the HR department to ensure a positive and compliant work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct disciplinary hearings and mediate disputes
- Provide guidance on labour laws and regulations
- Assist in the development and implementation of structured and legislatively compliant policies and practices
- Inspect and resolve employee issues in a timely and effective manner
- Work closely with HR to manage and resolve workplace conflicts
Requirements
- Matric (required)
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in industrial relations or a related field
- Strong labour relations experience, including knowledge of CCMA and arbitration processes
- Experience working with disciplinary hearings and conflict resolution
- Strong, clear communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver’s license
