About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Stock Controller to join our team in Pretoria. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for monitoring and replenishing stock levels, ensuring that production teams have enough stock at all times. You will also serve as an ambassador for the company when interacting with suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving and verifying deliveries.
- Reconciling Delivery notes with purchase orders and invoices.
- Stock take and reconciliation of stock.
- Entering stock items in the system and allocating them to their respective jobs.
- Maintaining harmonious working relationships with Suppliers/Vendors.
- Observing correct stock receiving protocols.
- Maintaining the storeroom and the allocation of space for stock.
- Unpacking orders and stock shelves as required.
- Maintaining good working relationships with Managers and your peers.
Requirements
- An inherent requirement of the job is to lift and move heavy stock; therefore, we require a male with previous experience in stock control.
- Their own car and be in possession of a valid drivers’ licence as they may, on occasion, have to collect stock from suppliers.
