About the Role
Our Maitland-based client is urgently seeking an experienced Invoice Clerk to join their team. As a Night Shift Invoice Clerk, you will be responsible for generating and checking invoices, GRNs, and GRVs, utilizing your extensive knowledge of Pastel software. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of relevant experience in this field, with the ability to work irregular hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, verify, and issue invoices, GRNs, and GRVs to clients and suppliers
- Receive client orders via e-mail/WhatsApp/web
- Process orders
- Check stock availability
- Obtain approval before dispatching of orders
- Ensure accuracy and compliance
- Record payments
- Resolve billing discrepancies
Requirements
- Male applicants only
- Grade 12 with Maths & Accounting
- 2+ years experience checking and generating invoices, GRNs, and GRVs
- Extensive knowledge and working experience with Pastel
- Attention to detail
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Data entry proficiency
- Live within easy commute to Maitland
