About the Role
Kendrick Recruitment is currently recruiting an experienced and professional Assistant Front Office Manager for a world-renowned luxury safari lodge based in the Kruger National Park. This role supports and relieves the Front Office Manager and oversees Reception, Safari Shop, Massage, and Transfers departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Reception area and ensure smooth guest arrivals
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the Reception team
- Maintain accurate records of guest check-ins, check-outs, and special requests
- Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately
- Coordinate with staff to ensure seamless transitions between departments
- Monitor and report on front office revenue and expenses
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a front office role within a 4 or 5-star luxury lodge
- Previous assistant front office management or supervisory experience advantageous
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills
- Excellent guest service and hosting ability
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a front office role within a 4 or 5-star luxury lodge (no formal education requirement)
Salary & Benefits
Salary: Negotiable, dependent on experience
