About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. The successful candidate will have completed a degree in Quantity Surveying and possesses 5 years of experience in building projects across South Africa. With certification in Construction Council of South Africa (CCS) essential, we require a professional who can lead by example, motivate staff, and deliver results in a high-pressure environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage construction methods and measuring outputs
Project programming and scheduling
Site staff management (including IR, if necessary)
Financial reporting (per site and project)
Contract law, insurances, SHEQ legislation implementation
Effective communication at all levels

Requirements

5 years of experience in building projects
Certification in Construction Council of South Africa (CCS)
Proven track record in motivating and mentoring staff
Experience with international standards
Flexible to travel if needed
Exceptional interpersonal skills

Qualifications

Completed degree in Quantity Surveying
