About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. The successful candidate will have completed a degree in Quantity Surveying and possesses 5 years of experience in building projects across South Africa. With certification in Construction Council of South Africa (CCS) essential, we require a professional who can lead by example, motivate staff, and deliver results in a high-pressure environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage construction methods and measuring outputs
- Project programming and scheduling
- Site staff management (including IR, if necessary)
- Financial reporting (per site and project)
- Contract law, insurances, SHEQ legislation implementation
- Effective communication at all levels
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in building projects
- Certification in Construction Council of South Africa (CCS)
- Proven track record in motivating and mentoring staff
- Experience with international standards
- Flexible to travel if needed
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Completed degree in Quantity Surveying
