About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. The successful candidate will have completed a degree in Quantity Surveying and possesses 5 years of experience in building projects across South Africa. With certification in Construction Council of South Africa (CCS) essential, we require a professional who can lead by example, motivate staff, and deliver results in a high-pressure environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage construction methods and measuring outputs
  • Project programming and scheduling
  • Site staff management (including IR, if necessary)
  • Financial reporting (per site and project)
  • Contract law, insurances, SHEQ legislation implementation
  • Effective communication at all levels

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in building projects
  • Certification in Construction Council of South Africa (CCS)
  • Proven track record in motivating and mentoring staff
  • Experience with international standards
  • Flexible to travel if needed
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills

Qualifications

  • Completed degree in Quantity Surveying
