About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef De Partie to join our luxury wine estate in Somerset West. As the culinary expert responsible for running Hot & Cold prep for a la carte lunch and dinner, including all functions and catering requirements at the farm as well as off-site events and functions, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Run Hot & Cold prep for a la carte lunch and dinner
  • Manage all functions and catering requirements at the farm and off-site events
  • Prepare and cook meals according to menu specifications
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation
  • Collaborate with other chefs and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery

Requirements

  • At least 3 – 4 years professional cheffing experience in a formal brigade structure
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities
  • Evidence of culinary skills in hot and cold production
  • Experience with menu creation and recipe testing
  • Efficient and fast worker to get through prep lists daily
