Job Description
Hire Resolve is currently seeking a proactive and experienced Workplace Trainer to join their client’s team in Saldanha. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting training sessions and delivering impactful learning experiences to employees in a workplace setting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive training to fishworkers on all relevant working stations or areas within the processing facility.
- Mentor individuals to enhance their skills and understanding of production processes.
- Conduct individual competency assessments to identify strengths and areas needing improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of training sessions, assessments, and individual progress.
- Document training outcomes and adjustments made to improve performance.
- Observe fishworkers during operations to ensure compliance with production standards.
- Monitor performance to maintain consistency and efficiency in production output.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in training and mentoring within a production or processing environment, preferably in the seafood industry.
- Strong knowledge of fish processing techniques and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to assess competencies and provide constructive feedback.
- Organisational skills with attention to detail for record keeping and documentation.
- Certification or training in occupational health and safety is desirable.
