About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales/Account Manager to join our team in South Africa. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT sales, account management, or business development, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Key Responsibilities
- Identify and acquire new business opportunities in IT services, hardware, and software solutions
- Manage and grow existing client accounts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention
- Develop and present IT solutions proposals tailored to client needs
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure client requirements are understood and delivered
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and account performance updates
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Business, IT, Marketing, or a related field
- Sales certifications such as Certified Professional Sales Person (CPSP) or equivalent (advantageous)
- IT-related certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, or vendor-specific hardware/software) are a plus
- Proven experience in IT sales, account management, or business development
- Knowledge of IT services, hardware, and software solutions
- Strong relationship management and client-facing skills
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Business, IT, Marketing, or a related field
Salary & Benefits
R25,000 – R30,000 per month, dependent on experience.
