About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Outbound Manager to join our team at iStaff (Pty) Ltd in Stellenbosch. As an Outbound Manager, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels, ensuring compliance with export regulations, and coordinating logistics for our clients’ shipments. If you have a strong background in administration, a keen eye for detail, and excellent communication skills, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily inventory counts in the morning to verify pallet stock
- Monitor and manage pallet stock levels to plan daily dispatch volumes
- Perform stock ageing analyses to ensure effective stock rotation, following the FIFO principle
- Verify that all pallets are correctly receipted into the system before being dispatched
- Arrange pallets according to loading instructions
- Assist with palletising to ensure pallets are correctly built and ready for dispatch
- Ensure that Titan export data is accurate by verifying that received pallets contain the correct intake information
- Coordinate truck loading and ensure the correct trucks receive the correct pallets
- Monitor and optimise truck turnaround times to minimise delays and improve efficiency
Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12
- Very strong administration skills
- Understanding of export fruit quality standards
- Computer literate (Excel essential)
- Titan export data experience
- Keen eye for detail
- General business understanding and outbound management exposure
- Own transport
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification advantageous
- Certification in export compliance or a related field (if applicable)
