About the Role
We are seeking an experienced General Manager to join our team at Fusion Personnel. As a commercially astute leader, you will be responsible for driving growth and profitability of our division. With strong financial, contract, and risk management expertise, you will ensure disciplined cash flow management through contract structures, payment milestones, and risk management. You will also lead the development, improvement, and localization of products and ancillaries, identify and commercialize new products, services, and service models, and oversee sales strategy, pipeline development, and key opportunity pursuit.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver approved annual budgets, forecasts, margins, and resource plans
- Drive growth of the installed base and aftermarket pull-through
- Ensure disciplined cash flow management through contract structures, payment milestones, and risk management
- Lead development, improvement, and localization of products and ancillaries
- Identify and commercialize new products, services, and service models
- Oversee sales strategy, pipeline development, and key opportunity pursuit
- Review and approve tenders, proposals, pricing strategies, and contractual terms
- Develop and implement divisional strategy, annual operating plans, and forecasts
- Track performance against KPIs and lead corrective actions where required
- Lead, coach, mentor, and develop Department Managers against clear performance outcomes
- Ensure compliance with legal, environmental, health & safety, and BBBEE requirements
- Identify, assess, and mitigate operational, commercial, and technical risks
Requirements
- Engineering Degree, Business or Management Qualification (Essential)
- Commercially astute leader with strong financial, contract, and risk management expertise
- Decisive results-driven leadership style
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experienced on MS Office and Power BI
- 5 – 10 years in a managerial role
- Willing to travel locally and internationally
