About the Role
She recruit is seeking an experienced Off-The-Road Tyre Sales Specialist to join our team in South Africa. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities across mining and heavy equipment sectors. You will also promote and sell OTR tyres, services, and tyre management solutions to customers, conduct site visits and tyre inspections, and provide technical advice on tyre maintenance and performance optimisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across mining and heavy equipment sectors
- Promote and sell OTR tyres, services, and tyre management solutions
- Conduct site visits and tyre inspections to assess customer needs
- Recommend appropriate tyre specifications based on equipment and operating conditions
- Provide technical advice on tyre maintenance and performance optimisation
- Prepare and present technical sales proposals and quotations
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Achieve agreed turnover, revenue, and EBITDA targets
Requirements
- 2–4 years’ experience in OTR tyres, mining or heavy equipment environments
- Practical understanding of OTR tyre sizes, applications, and operating conditions
- Exposure to mining houses, contractors, EPCs, OEMs, and/or industrial operators
- Strong consultative sales and business development capability
- Ability to analyse tyre wear, performance, and cost efficiency metrics
- Portuguese advantageous but not essential
- Self-motivated, resilient, and growth-oriented with a strong commercial mindset
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field (if applicable)
