About the Role
Hire Resolve’s Client is seeking a Management Accountant to join their reputable company within the Construction Industry in Tanzania. As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations and providing support to senior management in making informed business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management review
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis for construction projects
- Monitor and evaluate project financial performance
- Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision making
- Ensure compliance with financial standards and regulations
- Work collaboratively with project teams and stakeholders
- Identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement
- Prepare financial statements and analysis for management and shareholders
- Conduct financial audits and implement internal controls
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven experience as a Management Accountant in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis for construction projects
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
Qualifications
- Relevant certification (e.g. CIMA, ACCA) is a plus
