About the Role
We are seeking a General Management Couple/Individual to run an intimate, 5-star lodge within the Manyoni Game Reserve. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the lodge, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining high standards of service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the lodge’s daily operations, including front office, housekeeping, and maintenance
- Oversee food and beverage services, ensuring high-quality meals and beverages are consistently served to guests
- Supervise the activities of senior staff, including the Maintenance Manager and Senior Field Guides
- Implement and enforce policies and procedures to ensure guest safety and satisfaction
- Maintain accurate financial records and reports
- Liaise with external partners and vendors to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- Previous General Management or Lodge Management experience
- Two of the following skill sets: Chef, Maintenance Manager, or Senior Field Guide
- Proven leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a remote location with limited access to amenities
Qualifications
- Completed degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field (if applicable)
Salary & Benefits
- R 35 000 – R 40 000 per month
- Food included, plus a 2-bedroom cottage
