Job Description
Our Client, operating in the Agricultural Services Sector, is seeking to employ a Milking Machine Technician to their team based in Queenstown.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a milking machine technician or in a similar technical role (e.g., electrical or mechanical equipment technician) will be beneficial.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair dairy equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- A valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Certification in electrical mechanical maintenance, agricultural technology, or a related field will be beneficial.
- Previous experience working in a dairy farm or with milking equipment will be beneficial.
Responsibilities, but not limited to:
Installation & Maintenance:
- Install, test, and maintain milking machines and related dairy equipment, ensuring they are functioning at optimal levels.
Repairs:
- Diagnose and repair malfunctions or issues with milking machines, pumps, pipelines, and other dairy equipment.
Routine Inspections:
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on milking machines and other machinery to identify and resolve any potential issues before they impact operations.
Troubleshooting:
- Quickly respond to malfunctions or breakdowns to minimize downtime, using troubleshooting skills to find the cause and implement effective solutions.
Training:
- Provide training and support to farm staff on the proper use and maintenance of milking equipment.
Record-Keeping:
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections to comply with farm regulations and industry standards.
