About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to fill the role of eSports Coach and IT Technician, providing both technical support and competitive gaming leadership within a private school environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading students in Esports, developing team strategy and sportsmanship, while also ensuring effective learning delivery and technical functionality across the school.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Esports practices, competitions, and gaming activities across multiple titles
- Provide daily IT support and troubleshooting for staff, students, and school devices
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and peripherals
- Support users with Microsoft Office applications and related systems
- Assist with school operations such as supervision duties, exam invigilation, and substitution teaching when required
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- 1–3 years of hands-on IT support or hardware and software troubleshooting experience
- Proven experience coaching or competing at a high level in Counter-Strike, Valorant, and/or Fortnite
Qualifications
- CompTIA A, N or equivalent certification
