Job Description
Hire Resolve is currently seeking a Sales Engineer to join our client in the Port Elizabeth office. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for driving sales and expanding their customer base in the assigned territory. Your main goal will be to provide technical solutions to their clients and ensure customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business targets
- Responsible for growth in sales by acquiring profitable new business across all product lines and related markets on a monthly and annual basis.
- Maintains and services the companys current regional customer base to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Prospects for new clients to expand company sales and market reach.
- Implements various marketing initiatives to enhance Air Products’ market presence.
- Achieves annual sales targets as agreed upon.
- Performs sales administrative tasks and handles related ad-hoc duties.
- Actively acquires industry knowledge to support personal and professional development.
Requirements:
- Matric with Maths and Science.
- Recognised Certificate/Diploma or Degree in Sales and Marketing, or Engineering Sales.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of technical selling and/or operations environment.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience in the gas/chemical or related industry.
- Computer literate and proficient in MS Office suite.
- Proven track record in negotiating at high levels and building strong customer relationships.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and report writing skills.
- Valid unendorsed Code 8 (B) driver’s license and own reliable transport
