About the Role
The Programme Manager role in our Cape Town City Centre office is a critical component of driving business growth and improvement through strategic programme management. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in coordinating large, multi-stream initiatives in complex organisations, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Enterprise Programme Direction: Take ownership of a portfolio of linked initiatives with shared outcomes and dependencies.
- Coordinate initiatives that introduce or enhance customer interaction channels, transactional platforms, and operational support systems.
- Establish appropriate decision forums and reporting rhythms for senior leadership.
- Manage overall funding envelopes, forecasts, and spend tracking.
- Engage senior leaders across business and enabling functions to maintain shared direction.
- Provide guidance and support to project and delivery managers within the programme structure.
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification (Degree) in a business, engineering, or technology-related field.
- Formal certification in structured delivery or programme leadership approaches is required (i.e. PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent).
- MSP, PgMP or similar in addition to the aforementioned required qualifications is highly advantageous.
