About the Role
The Senior Business Analyst role is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders to gather and analyze technical requirements, designing scalable solutions, and ensuring seamless integration with various systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document technical requirements.
- Translate business needs into process flows, technical specifications, epics, features, user stories, and tasks.
- Design scalable solutions aligned with architecture and cybersecurity standards.
- Become the subject-matter expert (SME) for assigned custom platforms, advising on best practices and limitations.
- Work shoulder-to-shoulder with developers to clarify requirements, troubleshoot design challenges, and validate implementations.
- Lead technical sprint ceremonies to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Document system architecture decisions and contribute to technical wikis.
Requirements
- Proven experience in application support or business/technical analytics for at least 5 years.
- Experience working with third-party service providers and managing SLAs.
- Experience in global or virtual team working.
- Analytical skills in Agile/Scrum methodologies, data modeling, and process mapping.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Equivalent relevant qualification.
