We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Veterinary Nurse to join our dedicated team. Main tasks and responsibilities Providing routine and intensive care for hospitalised animals Administering medications and fluids as prescribed. Performing wound care Providing first aid and stabilisation for critically ill or injured animals. Assisting with pain management and supervising obstetric care. Assisting veterinarians during surgeries and providing post-operative monitoring and care. Collecting biological samples (blood, urine, faeces, skin scrapings) for analysis. Performing basic in-house laboratory tests and reporting findings. Maintaining accurate medical, treatment and inventory records. Dispensing medicines in accordance with veterinary prescriptions and legislation. Qualification and experience A valid drivers license. Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in veterinary nursing. Registration with the South African Veterinary Council (SAVC). A Bachelor of Veterinary Nursing (BVetNurs) qualification
