Employer Description Our client is a Property IDevelopment & Management company Job Description Reporting to the Site Manager, the General Foreman will handle the following: Day-to-day management of site activities Ensure that construction works are executed safely, to specification, on programme, and within quality standards Coordinate with subcontractors, staff, suppliers and site management Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities and labour Manage subcontractors to ensure productivity, quality, and programme compliance Ensure works are executed in accordance with drawings, specifications, and approved methods Monitor daily progress and report to the Site Manager Enforce health and safety standards in line with OHS Act and company policies Conduct daily toolbox talks and site briefings Ensure effective housekeeping and site discipline Identify and resolve site issues proactively to avoid delays Assist with short-term planning and sequencing of works Ensure materials are used efficiently and wastage is minimised Support inspections and snagging processes Qualifications Trade qual or relevant construction certification First Aid and Safety rep certificates (advantageous) Skills Minimum 510 years experience in a similar foreman role Strong practical construction knowledge (civil, structural, finishes) Have a good understanding of plumbing and electrical installations Proven experience managing subcontractors and direct labour Sound understanding of construction drawings and specifications Good working knowledge of OHS regulations Ability to lead, motivate, and discipline site teams Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Valid drivers license & own transport OHS regulations Supervisory or site management training preferred Benefits Travel re-imbursement
