Pretoria: Electrical Reticulation Site Foreman

Site Supervision & Coordination: Supervise daily electrical reticulation activities on site. Allocate tasks to electricians, cable jointers, and subcontractors. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other trades. Ensure work aligns with drawings, specifications, and construction schedules. Electrical Reticulation Works: Oversee installation of MV/LV cables, conduits, ducts, trenches, and pits. Supervise cable pulling, jointing, terminations, and testing. Ensure correct installation of transformers, switchgear, kiosks, and substations. Monitor reinstatement works and final commissioning support. Health, Safety & Compliance: Enforce site safety rules and electrical safety procedures. Conduct toolbox talks, risk assessments, and safety inspections. Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, standards, and utility requirements. Report incidents, near misses, and hazards promptly. Quality Control: Inspect workmanship and materials to ensure quality standards are met. Verify testing results and ensure proper documentation. Rectify defects and manage punch lists. Planning & Reporting: Assist with work planning, scheduling, and progress tracking. Maintain site records, daily reports, and material usage logs. Identify potential delays or issues and propose solutions. Materials & Equipment: Manage tools, plant, and equipment on site. Coordinate material deliveries and ensure correct storage. Minimize waste and prevent damage or loss.
