About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Head Chef to join our upmarket casual restaurant team in Mauritius. The ideal candidate will be hard working, with a stable employment history as a Head Chef at an Expo establishment for at least 2 years.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items to high standards
  • Manage kitchen staff and ensure efficient service
  • Maintain high levels of food quality and presentation
  • Implement menus and recipes in accordance with restaurant policies
  • Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience as a Head Chef at an Expo establishment
  • International experience is highly desirable
  • Ability to relocate to Mauritius

Qualifications

  • Formal education or certification in culinary arts (if applicable)

Salary & Benefits

  • R45,000 – R55,000 per annum, with flight and accommodation provided
