About the Role

We are seeking a commercially minded Travel Consultant to join our team at Wild Dreams Hospitality, where you will be responsible for delivering seamless, high-touch guest journeys and driving business growth through precision logistics and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Quote, book, amend, and manage domestic and regional flight reservations
  • Arrange road transfers, air transfers, charters, and scenic flights
  • Liaise with suppliers to secure preferred rates and maintain strong working relationships
  • Apply margins and commissions in line with the company’s pricing strategy
  • Support reservations and sales teams to improve booking conversion and guest experience
  • Issue confirmations, vouchers, and all relevant travel documentation
  • Proactively manage flight changes, delays, and any guest travel disruptions
  • Maintain accurate records for bookings, invoicing, and reconciliations
  • Ensure all travel arrangements align with brand standards and service expectations
  • Assist with reporting on travel revenue, margins, and operational performance
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with guests, agents, and internal teams

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as a Travel Consultant
  • Solid understanding of Southern and East African travel logistics
  • Previous exposure to luxury, safari, or tailor-made travel environments preferred
  • Proven experience quoting, booking, and issuing flights and transfers
  • Strong knowledge of airline fare structures, routing logic, and ticketing processes
  • Proficiency in MS Office and travel booking or reservation systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational ability with meticulous attention to detail
  • Calm, professional, and solutions-focused under pressure
  • Commercial awareness with a strong sense of pricing and margins
  • Collaborative mindset and strong service ethic
