About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Houseman to join our team at Craven Cottage CC in Stellenbosch. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring that all guests have an exceptional stay with us.
Key Responsibilities
- Upkeep and cleaning of hotel rooms and communal guest areas
- Perform turndown and general housekeeping services to facilitate a seamless stay for hotel guests
- Exceeding guests’ expectations, from arrival to departure in all areas of their stay
- Ensuring that all guests’ special requests, requirements are communicated clearly and are met by all departments
- Deliver exceptional service
- Thinking out of the box to make guests’ stay exceptional
- Adhere to and maintain Health and Safety standards
Requirements
- Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of housekeeping experience in a luxury hotel
- Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques and methods
- Excellent time keeping skills
- Ability to follow SOP standards
- Attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- High level of physical endurance
- Ability to work shifts including night shift
