About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement & Stores Officer to join our luxury five-star lodge in KwaZulu-Natal. As part of our brand new live-in facility, you will play a crucial role in managing sourcing, purchasing, and inventory control to ensure seamless operations and compliance with HACCP and South African regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage sourcing, purchasing, and supplier negotiations
  • Implement full inventory control
  • Support all departments (kitchen, housekeeping, maintenance & finance) to ensure smooth operations
  • Monitor budget and report on expenses
  • Utilize procurement systems knowledge
  • Maintain luxury lodge experience

Requirements

  • Strong supplier negotiation skills
  • Stock control & FIFO/FEFO experience
  • Budget monitoring & reporting expertise
  • Knowledge of procurement systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with fine dining and events

Qualifications

  • Formal education/certifications (Bachelor’s, LLB, Matric, etc.)
