Job Purpose
We are seeking a newly qualified Chartered Accountant CA(SA) to join our finance team. The role will focus on financial reporting, general ledger management, and account reconciliations, ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with statutory and reporting requirements.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform monthly account reconciliations (balance sheet and income statement)
- Maintain and manage the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Assist with statutory reporting, audits, and year-end processes
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax legislation, and company policies
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Liaise with auditors and internal stakeholders
- Identify and implement process improvements within the finance function
Minimum Requirements
- Chartered Accountant CA(SA)
- Registered with SAICA (South African Institute of Chartered Accountants)
- Completed articles at a SAICA-accredited training office
- Strong understanding of financial accounting and reporting principles
- Solid experience in account reconciliations and general ledger management
