About the Role
The Stager role at KERSTON FOODS CC involves coordinating the staging process, ensuring accurate order preparation, and maintaining a safe working environment in accordance with food safety policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate the staging assistants into ensuring they put the orders correctly.
- Check that all products are organised as per client requirements. Ensure that the area is ready for work processing.
- Raise any discrepancies with warehouse picking departments and inform supervisor.
- Organise and prioritise orders according to the plans provided by the Distribution Department.
- Ensure that all products are staged accurately and efficiently as per customer requirements.
- Check that all documentation details match actual order details.
- Ensure staging assistants are updated on plans to be staged.
- Update the Staging Controller regarding the status of staging orders in progress.
- Ensure orders are presented to dispatch for loading timeously.
Requirements
- Minimum Grade 10
- 1 to 2 years experience in warehouse operations in medium to large scale Warehouse environment
- Proven experience to any role or duties relating to warehousing and stock control
- Knowledge and experience in safety practices and procedures applicable to handling of food products
- FMCG experience highly advantageous
