About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Analyst to join our team in Johannesburg. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining sales forecasts, analyzing market trends, and identifying opportunities to drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Building sales forecasts and predictive models based on historical data, seasonality, and market trends.
- Collecting and analyzing sales data to identify trends and patterns.
- Analyzing data received from sales team members.
- Monitoring key metrics such as conversion rates.
- Managing Market Competition and recommend proactive strategies.
- Setting targets, analyzing campaigns, and refining strategies.
- Maintaining data integrity within CRM platforms.
- Ensuring set sales volumes for Key Customers are met.
- Following, tracking, and understanding national and local economic trends and developments that impact the local cement and aggregates markets.
- Managing team and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Relevant Sales & Marketing/Accounting degree preferred.
- 2 years of Cement Experience preferred.
- Must have sales, marketing, and negotiation skills.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a retail environment linked to the building industry and/or other related industries.
- Knowledge of Mine Health & Safety Act & OHS Act advantageous.
