About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and organized Junior Warehouse Clerk to join our team in Johannesburg. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for receiving, organizing, and managing stock, ensuring timely order fulfillment, and maintaining high levels of quality control.
Key Responsibilities
- Accepting incoming orders
- Organizing incoming stock
- Putting the appropriate labels on each item received correctly
- Ensuring orders are received in a timely manner
- Identifying shortages/missing or damaged stock and reporting to supervisors
- Doing basic measurements to ensure stock to be received is dimensionally correct
- Recording serial numbers for stock requiring serialization
- Scanning QR codes/bar codes when either receiving stock or putting stock into the correct locations
Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Ability to pass drug test/background check
- No physical disabilities, able to lift up to 25 kg or more
- Be organized, motivated and have basic computer skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work independently as and when required
- High attention to detail
