About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Customer Relationship Manager to join our team in Stellenbosch, responsible for driving enterprise-level relationships with banking network partners and contributing to the growth of our business. The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial acumen, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the payments ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow enterprise-level relationships with banking network partners to optimise transaction volumes and enhance service delivery.
- Develop and execute joint commercial strategies aligned to organisational objectives.
- Lead complex, multi-party partnership engagements, including negotiations with senior and Câsuite stakeholders.
- Support onboarding and integration initiatives in collaboration with internal technical and operational teams.
- Ensure optimal settlement flows, risk alignment, and payment infrastructure performance.
- Represent the organisation within the broader banking and financial services ecosystem.
- Leverage performance data and market insights to inform commercial strategy and report on partnership outcomes.
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- 58 years of account management experience within payments, fintech, banking, or large digital wallet environments
- Strong knowledge of card networks, settlement flows, risk management, and payment infrastructure
- Proven enterprise-level business development experience with the ability to engage and negotiate with senior and Câsuite executives
- Established network within PSPs, acquiring banks, payment processors, or financial institutions
- Proficiency in MS Office and data analytics tools
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel
- Fluency in English, with a good understanding of Afrikaans
- Additional languages will be advantageous
