About the Role
Our client is focused on bridging the digital divide and empowering communities through reliable network access. As a Network Engineer (T3), you will be at the heart of operations, ensuring network stability, performance optimization, and rapid issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor Field Team escalation channels, provide technical assistance, and collaborate with Tier 4 engineers on advanced troubleshooting.
- Provide APEX system support by resolving tickets raised by Customer Experience teams and addressing NOC escalation issues related to customer connectivity.
- Proactively monitor network nodes for low capacity and high client saturation, triggering alerts and corrective actions where required.
- Utilize PRTG monitoring tools to identify recurring sector issues, track problematic connections, and monitor ping, traffic, and uptime performance.
- Perform logical fault analysis to diagnose network issues and optimize overall network reliability and performance.
- Execute all instructions and operational directives issued by the NOC Manager to meet real-time business requirements.
Requirements
- Education: National Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Networking, Computer Science, or a related field
- Relevant networking certifications (e.g. CCNA) are advantageous
