About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Production Foreman to join our growing property development and manufacturing business in East London. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations, managing production planning, and ensuring high-quality output while driving operational efficiency and team performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily manufacturing operations and production planning
- Ensure aluminium fabrication targets and factory output KPIs are met
- Monitor production schedules and workflow optimisation
- Track and improve production line efficiency and turnaround times
- Submit accurate production reports, timesheets, and performance metrics
- Implement strict quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) procedures
- Inspect aluminium windows, doors, and fabricated components before dispatch
- Address manufacturing defects and workmanship standards
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and factory quality systems
- Supervise and lead factory staff, artisans, fabricators, and general workers
- Manage performance, productivity, and workforce planning
- Enforce workshop discipline and operational procedures
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings
- Handle disciplinary processes and performance management
- Enforce Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) regulations
- Maintain a safe and compliant factory floor
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Production Foreman, Factory Foreman, Workshop Supervisor, Manufacturing Supervisor, or Aluminium Production Manager
- Strong background in aluminium fabrication, aluminium windows and doors manufacturing, or metal fabrication
- Experience in factory production management and manufacturing operations
- Knowledge of quality control systems, production scheduling, and workflow management
